Although we didn't meet our $2,000 goal, we truly appreciate the generosity and compassion of all who donated to our Holiday Helping Hands fundraiser via our founder's birthday fundraiser. $364 was raised (minus fees). With your support, we were able to pay a past due gas bill (AF of Newnan) and assist two families with groceries from Walmart (SW of Columbus and VR of East Point). Again, thank you, for believing in 2nd chances and for being a blessing to Georgians in need during the holidays.

For those who have applied, you will be contacted between 11/29 and Dec. 5th. Please note that assistance won't be paid or distributed until AFTER December 2nd so if you are in critical assistance now for financial assistance, please call 211 or visit www.211.org to find resources near you that can help. 

Because we are closed for the winter, the only communications you will receive from us will be via email from FeeAssistance@nlscoinc.org and 1 text or call. Any calls or emails outside of those regarding the Holiday Helping Hands Assistance will be ignored.
